Ziggy
The resident dictator. If something feels flimsy, dull or beneath her standards, she simply walks away. Brutal, but useful.
FluffSquatter began at my kitchen table, somewhere between a stack of boxes, a cold cup of tea and four pets who were absolutely certain they could run the place better.

By day, I’m an engineer. I like sensible plans, careful checks and knowing that things do what they are supposed to do. By night, I am the person comparing squeakers, inspecting seams and wondering whether a tiny festive toy will earn a tail wag or a deeply judgemental stare.
In the beginning, I packed every order at the kitchen table. One late night my hands ached from folding boxes, the label printer jammed for the third time, and I refreshed the order page far more often than any sensible engineer would admit. I honestly wondered whether anyone would buy.
Then the first order arrived. I checked the label three times, tucked everything in as neatly as I could and sent it out with equal parts pride and terror. The kettle did most of the emotional support.
That is still the heart of FluffSquatter: a one-person shop choosing playful things with care, packing with intention and remembering that every parcel is for somebody’s favourite little creature.
The four of them are not just pets; they are the product advisory board. Anything that earns a place in the shop must survive Ziggy’s cold-eyed inspection, Queso’s joy test, Master Shifu’s safety review and Charlie’s mischief challenge.
The resident dictator. If something feels flimsy, dull or beneath her standards, she simply walks away. Brutal, but useful.
Long body, short legs, endless enthusiasm. He reminds us that the best pet products create uncomplicated, gloriously silly happiness.
Wise, stern and magnificently bearded. He is the reason I check construction, suitability and the practical details before the fun begins.
Cheeky, curious and always plotting something. Charlie makes sure there is surprise, movement and just enough chaos to keep play interesting.
Every order supports a small independent shop and gives me one more reason to keep building something thoughtful, playful and genuinely ours. I may be the one answering emails and packing boxes, but your trust is what makes the whole thing possible.
From my four ridiculous bosses to yours: thank you for letting us be part of the fun.
